Inner View #7
In the last month and a half here on the Inner View we have been bringing you, the loyal War Wrestling fans in depth looks at the card for our biggest show ever in War X. Just 5 days before the big show we are here with a look at the final three sure to be outstanding matches on the card that will take place Saturday night from the UAW Hall in the heart of Lima, Ohio.

Respect title match
What better way to kick off our preview this week than to talk about a scramble match featuring some of the brightest young talent in the company for a newly introduced championship? This match has been coming together over the past few months with each man showing what he’s made of in earning his spot in the match. Aaron “Extreme” McCormick has shown to be one of the highest flyers in the company in his relatively short time here. Already with a victory over the Alpha Breed’s Trevor Court to his credit, the extreme one utilized a high powered offensive attack to defeat former War Champion Kaden Assad and move into the scramble match.
Christian Vaughn, who has returned to War and earned his spot in the match by virtue of defeating “The Archangel of Justice” Raguel by capitalizing on a Raguel mistake and scoring the win with a small package. Eli McFly, who at “Stars and Strikes” went from fun loving pop culture enthusiast to ruthless opportunist after assaulting his trainer and mentor Grant Parker “earned” his spot by scoring an upset victory over #1 Contender Juice Jennings (with a little help from Jeremy Madrox and his elbow of course). “Mad Dragon” Hakim Zane, the man who possesses perhaps the most unique offensive skillset of the five men in this match earned the most impressive of the four victories when he forced Caleb Stills to tap out in the middle of the ring at “Blood, Sweat and Fears 2″. How about a wildcard? War Wrestling management has recently added Mikey D to this already stacked match to make it a first ever War “Fatal 5-Way” as we look to crown the first ever Respect Champion. There is no definitive favorite in a match like this as the action will likely be allover the UAW Hall, but you can be sure that at the end of the match the winner will surely have the respect of his fallen competitors, and a title to prove it.

Grudge Match
Caleb Stills is a man on a mission. That mission you ask? To end the reign of “Justice” Raguel is on and to show everyone that Raguel is the person he claims to know him to be by unmasking him at War X. Both men cost the other their shots at the Respect Championship at “Blood, Sweat and Fears 2″ by distracting the other and causing a loss to them. Many standoffs during their post match confrontations have not proven fruitful for either man and have ended in standoffs. With no resolution to the seemingly endless string of post match fights between these two competitors, War Wrestling officials stepped in and made the match happen. “One fall will not be enough to settle the hatred these two men have shown to have for one another, so the only logical thing to do is to make it a two out of three falls match and let the winner be crowned that way”, officials said to the Inner View when asked about such a monumental matchup. Who is behind the mask? If Caleb Stills really does know, why doesn’t he just tell everyone? Is he that confident that he can incapacitate War Wrestling’s “White Knight” in such a way to pull the mask off and reveal the persons true identity? A better question is can he do it? One of the most interesting secrets could be exposed on IPPV come Saturday night if the former “Gutter” has his way, but let it be known that he says it will be for him and not for the fans to enjoy.

Battle Royal
Emails and tweets (@mccormickwar) have been flooding in recently asking about all of the legends that will be in attendance for the show. Just like you guys I can not wait to see who is at the show to celebrate the 10th anniversary of what is in my opinion one of the best, if not THE best indy in the midwest. While I have no idea who is actually going to be in the building or the match, I’ve heard some rumors and rumblings on the internet that I’ve found pretty interesting to say the least.
War Wrestling has been periodically showing up at recent Rockstar Pro Wrestling shows in Dayton the past month or so, does this mean the Rockstar roster could return the favor and send some of theirs up for revenge? One name that I have heard thrown around from down south is Hardcore Heather Owens. Could this self proclaimed “one classy broad”, have an impact on how the battle royal plays out, or will men like the “Most Dominant Faction in War Wrestling history”, the returning Michigan Invasion of “Amazing” Nate Mattson, Eddie Venom, Jamie Coxx and Truth Martini make quick work of her?

Hall of Fame
If somehow ALL OF THAT is not enough for to satisfy your wrestling appetite then make sure that you get to the UAW Hall in Lima early for the first ever War Wrestling Hall of Fame. The inaugural class will feature some of the men responsible for building Lima into the wrestling hotbed that it has become. Crusher Kline will be inducted by two of the men the legendary bigman had violent feuds with in Alexis Machine and “Beautiful” Brian Fury. The Nightmares, a very successful tag team in their day that were champions in multiple companies will be inducted by “The King of the Nighttime World” Tommy Wonder. “Big” Jim Lancaster whose career spanned multiple parts of the country and faced some of the biggest names in pro wrestling history in Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Andre The Giant just to name a few will be inducted by Dusty Dillinger. Another rival will be on hand to induct someone they knew quite well and competed for years against when “The King of Lima” Danny Daniels makes his return to the Bean City to talk about and honor the late “Sweet” Stevie Lee in what will no doubt be one of the most touching speeches of the night. When former multiple Hardcore Champion and leader of the Job Squad Al Snow returns home, he will be inducted by his children Brittany and Jake Snow to close out the Hall of Fame.
Thank you as always for reading another edition of the Inner View, please come back this week as we will be holding a special interview with the man behind War Wrestling, the Postmaster Big Tom Williams that you won’t want to miss as we get his thoughts on the biggest show in Lima wrestling history as only he can give them, unfiltered and uncensored.
