Wrestlers and wrestling fans from all over the United States are coming to Lima to celebrate W.A.R. Wrestling’s 10 Year Anniversary and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on January 19, 2013 at the UAW Hall in Lima.
Since its debut show in 2003, W.A.R. Wrestling has produced over 50 shows in and around Lima.
During that time, hundreds of wrestlers and tens of thousands of fans have participated in the independent wrestling phenomenon.
Now, they are all invited to reunite and celebrate ten years of quality professional wrestling entertainment in Lima, Ohio.
The event will commence with a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honoring 7 highly respected individuals that helped grow professional wrestling in Lima.
W.A.R. Wrestling will induct Al Snow, “Sweet” Stevie Lee, Crusher Kline, Jim Lancaster, and the tag team of “The Nightmares” with their manager Count Maurice Demon into the Class of 2013 Hall of Fame.
Then W.A.R. Wrestling will present “WAR X”, an internet pay-per-view event featuring 7 matches that have been anticipated for over a year.
TEAM JOCK and TEAM DUSTY will square off in a 2 ring steel cage WAR GAMES 5 on 5 MAIN EVENT. The bitter feud between Dusty and Jock finally comes to a head. And, who will be Dusty’s mystery partner?
“The Butcher” Jeremy Madrox will go one-on-one with Juice Jennings in a KO/Submission match for the WAR Championship. Madrox has thwarted Juice’s rise to the top of W.A.R. Wrestling, but will Juice finally get revenge and become the next WAR Champion?
The Painkillers defend the WAR Tag Team Titles in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match against The Alpha Breed and The Scarboni’s. Which of these tag teams will capture the gold and stake claim as the best tag team in W.A.R. Wrestling?
Aaron McCormick, Eli McFly, Christian Vaughn, Mikey D, and Hakim Zane will all compete in a fatal 5 way match to crown the first ever Respect Champion.
Kaden Assad vs. Jeff Cannon in a Flag Match.
Caleb Stills will fight Raguel in a 2/3 falls grudge match to settle the score between the two.
WAR X will also feature a huge 2 ring over-the-top-rope battle royal featuring W.A.R. Wrestlers of the past and present. With so many invited back to participate in this event, who from WAR Wrestling’s past will come back to participate in this battle royal?
General Admission Tickets are $10 in advance at Groamy’s CD’s and Tapes, Clubhouse Pizzeria, or online at www.warwrestling.com. Reserved 2nd and 3rd row seating is available for $12 in advance. All tickets purchased the day of the event are $15 at the door. Doors open at 4p.m. The Hall of Fame Ceremony starts at 5p.m., and the “WAR X” show starts at 7p.m.
